Meditative positivism is Objective Experience

这里最需要注意一点就是,把方便(权说)和圆说结合起来。平时为了培养出离心,我们对这个世界就是说这个不好、那个不好,这个世界苦啊等等、等等,有很多很多的不好,所以我们要脱离这个世界,不去追求这个世界的五欲六尘,这个是为了刚开始培养出离心的时候这样说的。

One crucial point to note here is the integration of *expedient means* (provisional teachings) and *complete teachings*. In daily practice, to cultivate renunciation, we often emphasize the negativity of this world—how this is bad, that is bad, how the world is full of suffering, and so on. There are countless flaws, which is why we must detach from this world and refrain from pursuing its sensual pleasures (*the five desires and six dusts*). This kind of teaching is used in the initial stages to foster a mind of renunciation.

但是在真正的实证中,是不需要这样的,是立足于体验,客观地体验,一定要了解,体验的目的是为了形成专注,而不是去追求。

However, in true meditative positivism, this approach is unnecessary. Instead, we must ground ourselves in experience—objective experience. It’s essential to understand that the purpose of experience is to develop concentration, not to pursue or reject anything.

因为”专注”所以体验的结果反而是放弃,而你用一种心理学的方法,认为那个不好去放弃,反而不容易放弃,所以最好的放弃方法就是体验。

而体验的前提,就是不能有这种好坏之分,当你有这种好坏之分的时候,你用的就是思维衍生状态的这种分别观念,这种分别观念是刚强心(执着心)的表现,所以当你觉得它不好的时候,你就已经是用了刚强心。

当你又起第二念,对于不好的东西你不由自主要放弃的时候,你就用了一种排斥的心,同样是你的刚强心,对于真正的修法不是去排斥,不是去分别,而是去体验。
